Act as the central hub for all department activities. You'll coordinate public relations, outreach, and recruitment; serve as a liaison to university departments like Controller, Registrar, ITS, and external partners; and support VIPs including faculty, donors, and speakers. Oversee confidential records, supervise student workers and interns, manage office equipment with custom user guides, procure supplies, and handle mail systems.
Drive success in certificate programs and events by providing logistical support: create marketing flyers, manage registrations, schedule instructors, reserve spaces, handle tech and catering, process invoices, and staff events like speaker series, webinars, and conferences. Respond promptly to inquiries to boost participation.
Enhance department visibility by editing website content, publications, and communications for accuracy. Maintain databases, mailing lists, and stakeholder records while supporting strategic outreach to internal and external audiences.
Contribute to grants and evaluations by tracking website analytics, surveys, enrollment data, and outcomes. Schedule site visits, prepare reports, and manage related budgets to demonstrate program impact.
To excel, bring 2+ years of administrative experience, proficiency in tools like Banner, LiveText, and Microsoft Office, and strong organizational skills. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with discretion for confidential work, excellent communication, and a customer-focused mindset.
