• Lead end-to-end payroll processing for 350+ employees, managing bi-monthly cycles and diverse pay frequencies (weekly, semi-monthly, etc.)
• Execute payroll using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring timely and accurate wage calculations, deductions, taxes, and garnishments
• Handle complex employee classifications including exempt/non-exempt, union, and multi-state workers
• Maintain strict adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations across multiple jurisdictions
• Monitor and implement updates to payroll laws, tax codes, and reporting requirements
• Conduct regular audits of payroll records to prevent discrepancies and ensure audit readiness
• Investigate and resolve payroll errors, employee inquiries, and discrepancies with precision
• Generate detailed payroll reports, analytics, and reconciliations for finance and leadership teams
• Collaborate with HR on onboarding, terminations, benefits integrations, and status changes
• 5+ years in payroll management, with proven full-cycle processing for large, multi-state workforces
• Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (required) and other payroll/HRIS systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) strongly desired
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy under tight deadlines
• Deep knowledge of multi-state payroll compliance, tax withholding, and labor laws
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees, vendors, and executives
• Ability to manage confidential data with the highest integrity
