Key Responsibilities

In this full-time role, you'll hit the ground running with substantive casework:

• Own and manage plaintiff employment litigation cases from intake through resolution.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies tailored to individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough discovery, including propounding and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
• Prepare for and take effective depositions of defendants, fact witnesses, and experts.
• Draft compelling pleadings, motions, oppositions, and trial briefs with persuasive legal writing.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, arbitrations, and jury trials.
• Negotiate favorable settlements while maximizing client recovery.
• Collaborate closely with a seasoned team, including paralegals who've been with the firm for years.
• Stay ahead of employment law developments, including FEHA, FLSA, and California Labor Code.
