Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day impact will include:

• Partnering with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain, and sales to develop and execute value-driven financial strategies that enhance plant performance.
• Conducting in-depth profit and loss (P&L) analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, performance gaps, and areas for revenue growth.
• Leading monthly, weekly budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to ensure accurate financial planning.
• Managing comprehensive cost accounting operations, including standard cost roll-ups, variance reporting, and system updates using ERP tools.
• Overseeing inventory cycle counts, reconciliations, and physical audits to maintain accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Mentoring and developing a team of 3-5 finance professionals, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth.
• Creating executive-level financial dashboards, KPIs, and reports that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for plant leadership.
• Driving inventory accuracy initiatives through process improvements and technology enhancements.
• Participating in kaizen events, lean projects, and cross-functional teams to foster continuous improvement across the facility.
• Aligning plant financial goals with corporate objectives, providing strategic input on capital investments, pricing, and operational decisions.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this Plant Controller role, candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Master's or MBA preferred).
• Active CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification highly desirable.
• At least 7-10 years of experience in plant controlling, manufacturing finance, or cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
