• Lead the preparation and analysis of comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, providing monthly insights to leadership.
• Design, implement, and monitor robust internal controls to protect company assets and guarantee the precision of financial reporting.
• Oversee daily accounting functions, from journal entries and account reconciliations to managing vendor payments and customer invoicing.
• Uphold strict adherence to US GAAP and regulatory standards, mitigating risks and ensuring audit readiness.
• Prepare detailed audit schedules and supporting documentation, facilitating seamless external audits.
• Partner cross-functionally with production, sales, and procurement teams to gather data and produce reports that drive informed decision-making.
• Develop accurate financial forecasts and budgets, aligning with long-term business objectives and production cycles.
• Perform in-depth variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance profitability.
• Direct month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met with zero discrepancies.
• Provide ad-hoc financial support to the General Manager and Corporate Controller, contributing to high-level strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications

To excel as our Plant Controller, you bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in plant controlling, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, internal controls (SOX compliance a plus), and manufacturing cost accounting principles.
• Hands-on proficiency with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards, coupled with advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial modeling.
• Demonstrated success in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis within a manufacturing context.
• Proven track record leading month-end closes and external audits with impeccable accuracy.
• Exceptional analytical skills to dissect financial data and recommend profitability enhancements.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to collaborate across departments and influence without authority.
• Familiarity with manufacturing metrics such as inventory valuation, overhead allocation, and standard costing.
