Key Responsibilities

Core Security Operations

• Configure, maintain, and enhance identity and access guardrails across multi-cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, Azure, and enterprise systems like Okta to ensure least-privilege access.
• Develop automated workflows for comprehensive asset visibility, inventory management, and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) generation, enabling proactive vulnerability management.

Data Protection and Infrastructure Security

• Implement advanced data protection measures such as encryption at rest and in transit, secrets management with tools like HashiCorp Vault, and key lifecycle management.
• Define and enforce secure configurations for containerized environments (Kubernetes, Amazon EKS) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform, reducing misconfiguration risks.

Collaboration and Compliance

• Partner with engineering and product teams to validate system resilience, conduct threat modeling, and document security architectures for scalability.
• Support compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) by gathering audit evidence, articulating control effectiveness, and facilitating third-party reviews.
• Monitor security tools (SIEM, CSPM), investigate alerts, drive remediation, and participate in incident response processes.

Required Qualifications for Security Engineer
