Key Responsibilities

As a Security Field Engineer, your days will be filled with impactful, hands-on work. Here's what you'll do:

• Program, test, and commission sophisticated integrated security systems, specializing in access control, wireless technologies, intrusion detection, paging systems, and intercom devices.
• Perform expert-level installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of hardware, software, and networking components directly at client sites throughout Melbourne, Florida, and surrounding areas.
• Quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues to guarantee 99.9% system uptime and client satisfaction.
• Deliver comprehensive training sessions to field technicians and end-clients, empowering them with knowledge on system operations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance best practices.
• Lead project management from inception to completion, meticulously tracking timelines, budgets, and deliverables to exceed client expectations.
• Serve as the trusted primary liaison, proactively addressing client concerns, escalating critical issues, and fostering transparent communication.

Required Qualifications

• Strong technical acumen in hardware installation, software configuration, networking protocols (TCP/IP, PoE), and low-voltage cabling standards.
• Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for rapid issue resolution in real-world, high-pressure scenarios.
• Experience training diverse audiences, from novice technicians to executive stakeholders.
• Solid project management capabilities, with a track record of delivering projects on time and under budget.
• Availability for on-call rotations and local travel within the Melbourne, FL area; valid driver's license required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as UL, NICET certifications, or BICSI training is highly preferred.
