Key Responsibilities

Financial Close and Ledger Oversight

Lead the month-end close process from start to finish, coordinating with cross-functional teams to gather data, review variances, and ensure timely submission of accurate financials. Oversee the general ledger, meticulously recording and classifying all transactions to reflect the true financial position, especially critical in construction where project-specific accounting is key.

Reconciliations and Compliance

Execute comprehensive account and bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies swiftly to maintain data integrity. Prepare and post journal entries in adherence to GAAP, company policies, and regulatory standards, minimizing audit risks and supporting seamless compliance.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, along with at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in construction or manufacturing. CPA certification is highly preferred, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.
