Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, you'll oversee comprehensive payroll operations and accounting tasks:

  • Execute all necessary month-end close activities and perform detailed account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Leverage your strong foundation in GAAP accounting to enhance payroll processes, boosting both accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Manage weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles for a large workforce exceeding 2,000 employees, ensuring every paycheck is timely and error-free.
  • Tackle complex payroll elements like garnishments, deductions, bonuses, and manual checks with precision.
  • Implement and oversee direct deposit setups for seamless, secure payment distribution.
  • Provide robust support to the accounting team on diverse projects and ad-hoc finance needs.
  • Conduct payroll account reconciliations and work closely with the Finance team for accurate general ledger coding.
  • Support internal and external audits, preparing documentation and responding to inquiries effectively.
  • Collaborate with HR on critical functions including onboarding, terminations, benefits enrollment, and timekeeping.
  • Address employee concerns regarding pay discrepancies, deductions, and tax withholdings promptly and professionally.
  • Develop, update, and maintain payroll policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance and process optimization.

Required Qualifications for Success
