Key Responsibilities

As our Senior Backend Developer, you'll drive critical backend initiatives from concept to production. Expect hands-on ownership of complex systems that demand precision and scalability.

• Architect and implement end-to-end payment integrations with leading providers including Braintree/PayPal, Venmo, Klarna, and emerging fintech APIs.
• Design and develop robust Spring Boot REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints that seamlessly support high-performance React frontend applications.
• Engineer resilient integration patterns, incorporating retries, circuit breakers, idempotency, and fault-tolerant mechanisms to ensure 99.99% uptime.
• Orchestrate vendor integrations via diverse channels: FTP workflows for batch processing, real-time APIs, and asynchronous message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Deploy, operate, and optimize containerized microservices on OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters, leveraging Docker containers and Helm charts for streamlined CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain platform reliability with proactive monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana), distributed logging (ELK stack), tracing (Jaeger), and targeted performance tuning.
• Secure the ecosystem by managing TLS/SSL certificates, implementing mTLS for service-to-service communication, and adhering to OWASP best practices.
• Partner cross-functionally with product managers, DevOps engineers, security specialists, and infrastructure teams to align on business goals and technical excellence.

Required Qualifications
