  • Maintain and enhance internal controls, SOX compliance, and accounting policies to mitigate risks and support audit readiness.

  • Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging system enhancements in ERP platforms like NetSuite or SAP to streamline operations.
  • Deliver ad hoc financial reporting, forecasting analysis, and special projects as requested by leadership.
  • Support international accounting needs, including foreign currency translations and multi-entity consolidations.
  • Contribute to team initiatives, such as learning sessions and cross-functional projects, enhancing overall department capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of progressive corporate accounting experience, ideally in investment management, private equity, or real assets.
  • Advanced proficiency in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and SEC requirements.
  • Hands-on expertise in journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and flux reviews.
  • Strong internal controls knowledge, with experience in SOX 404 or similar frameworks.
  • Proven audit coordination skills, partnering with Big 4 or mid-tier firms.
  • Technical skills in Excel (advanced functions, pivots), ERP systems, and BI tools.
  • CPA certification (active or in-progress) highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-performing team.
