  • Craft customized employment policies, handbooks, and risk mitigation strategies tailored to client industries.
  • Conduct client trainings, webinars, and seminars on hot topics like remote work compliance, DEI initiatives, and AI in hiring.
  • Cultivate enduring client relationships through proactive communication and value-added advice.
  • Mentor junior associates, providing guidance on case strategy, ethics, and professional development.
  • Spearhead business development by networking, pitching services, and expanding the firm's employment law portfolio.
  • Perform in-depth legal research, draft persuasive briefs, motions to dismiss, discovery responses, and settlement agreements.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this role, you bring:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership in good standing.
  • 8-10+ years of specialized experience in employment law, with a focus on employer-side defense.
  • Proven success in complex litigation, including trials, appeals, and class action resolutions.
  • Expertise in California-specific laws (e.g., FEHA, Labor Code § 1102.5, AB5) and federal statutes.
