Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve high-impact tasks essential to the firm's success:

  • Lead the preparation and submission of 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Perform detailed analytical reviews of quarterly balance sheets and income statements to identify variances and trends.
  • Produce weekly performance reports, encompassing returns, positioning, and attribution analysis for portfolio transparency.
  • Develop accurate weekly dividend estimates to guide investor communications.
  • Scrutinize and reconcile the outside Administrator’s NAV packages for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Partner closely with the Portfolio Management team to resolve issues related to fund investment objectives and constraints.
  • Demonstrate expertise in asset classes like bank loans, equities, and structured products held within funds.
  • Interpret and apply provisions from intricate legal documents for Joint Ventures, such as PPMs, LPAs, and IMAs—covering capital calls, allocations, carried interest, distributions, management fees, and expenses.
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations on crafting compelling investor decks and earnings releases.
  • Support external accountants during audit processes through detailed interactions and documentation.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the legal team to maintain unwavering regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare comprehensive materials for Board of Directors meetings.
  • Deliver precise capital reporting to Joint Venture investors.

Required Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:

  • 2+ years of Audit or Accounting experience from a Big 4 Financial Services Group or a publicly traded Asset Management/Capital Markets firm.
  • Active CPA license (mandatory).
  • Proven knowledge of SEC Reporting, specifically 10-Q and 10-K filings.
  • Strong grasp of diverse asset classes and complex Joint Venture legal structures.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Prior experience in performance attribution, NAV reconciliation, and regulatory interactions is highly preferred. Proficiency in financial modeling tools and Microsoft Excel is essential.
