Key Responsibilities

Project Cost Control

Take ownership of project finances by collaborating closely with the project management team to develop precise budgets and manpower forecasts for complex, multi-year construction initiatives. Conduct weekly budget-to-actual variance analysis to monitor indirect costs, pinpoint root causes of discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to eliminate variances. Create robust cash flow forecasts ensuring every project remains cash positive from start to finish. Handle accurate and timely monthly billing submissions for multi-million-dollar projects, minimizing delays and maximizing revenue recognition.

Project Procurement Planning

Lead the procurement planning process post-project award, working hand-in-hand with project teams to craft detailed procurement plans that incorporate compliance requirements and logistical considerations. Guide the team in executing procurements according to the plan, and perform in-depth monthly analyses comparing actual buys against planned budgets to optimize spending and maintain project profitability.

Project Controls and Reporting

Support the project team in preparing monthly financial forms, delivering comprehensive cost analyses with clear explanations for variances. Ensure all variances have acceptable justifications and assist in compiling financials for senior leadership review. Your insights will drive informed decision-making and project success.
