Key Responsibilities

Technical Accounting & Policy Leadership

  • Serve as the go-to expert on intricate technical accounting issues, covering business combinations, lease accounting, impairment assessments, commission structures, derivatives, and equity-based compensation programs.
  • Author detailed technical accounting position papers and memos that adhere to the highest U.S. GAAP standards and withstand rigorous audit scrutiny.

External Reporting & Compliance Excellence

  • Orchestrate the end-to-end preparation and meticulous review of all SEC filings, encompassing 10-Q quarterly reports, 10-K annual reports, 8-K current reports, proxy statements, and precise XBRL tagging.
  • Foster strong partnerships with Legal, Tax, FP&A, Investor Relations, and other stakeholders to guarantee disclosures are comprehensive, precise, and strategically aligned.
  • Provide proactive support to external auditors through comprehensive documentation, clear communication, and a fortified internal control framework.
  • Uphold and enhance SOX 404 compliance specifically tailored to reporting cycles and technical accounting domains.

Equity & Stock-Based Compensation Oversight

  • Manage the full lifecycle of accounting and reporting for stock-based compensation initiatives and all equity transactions.
  • Validate calculations, oversee valuations, and ensure disclosures meet timeliness and accuracy benchmarks.

Process Optimization & Team Leadership

  • Pinpoint inefficiencies in reporting and technical accounting workflows, leveraging Workiva and NetSuite for transformative improvements.

Required Qualifications
