Drive reformulation initiatives, product upgrades, lifecycle optimization, SKU pruning, relaunches, and portfolio evolution. Maintain critical technical substantiation, SDS sheets, and performance documentation. Architect product lines, define variant strategies, naming hierarchies, packaging information architecture, front-of-pack claims, and shelf positioning logic. Act as the ultimate authority on packaging architecture, claims placement, and compliance readiness.
Own MSRP, MAP guidelines, pricing bundles, pack sizes, and omnichannel strategies. Conduct in-depth competitive benchmarking and shelf positioning analysis. Lead margin modeling, price elasticity testing, and optimization efforts. Spearhead portfolio rationalization and identify whitespace expansion opportunities to maximize revenue and market share.
Manage state and federal product registrations, labeling, packaging, and claims compliance. Serve as the regulatory authority during audits and retailer compliance reviews. Oversee claims substantiation processes and standards reviews to ensure airtight legal and market readiness.
Lead package design development with full regulatory compliance. Create promotional graphics and product display units. Develop brand and sub-brand visual identities. Own PDP structure, SEO architecture, A+ content frameworks, claims hierarchy, and compliant persuasion tactics. Partner with Brand Content and E-Commerce teams to deploy PDP assets. Develop compelling sell-in messaging, including videos, comparison charts, and demonstrations.
Maintain real-time visibility into inventory, production schedules, and global sourcing. Align launches and optimizations with manufacturing capacity. Ensure product decisions prioritize scalability and cost efficiency. Tailor offerings to retailer shelf requirements and support sell-ins with differentiation frameworks. Provide e-commerce teams with competitive intelligence, pricing insights, and commercialization readiness.
To excel as our Senior Product Manager, you need a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field, plus 7+ years in product management within CPG or consumer goods.
