Key Responsibilities

Revenue Close and Recognition Leadership

• Lead month-end and quarter-end revenue close processes, delivering precise reporting to meet deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
• Scrutinize customer contracts, service agreements, and billing arrangements to apply ASC 606 revenue recognition principles accurately.

Analysis and Reconciliation

• Develop and maintain comprehensive revenue schedules, perform reconciliations, and compile documentation for internal teams and external auditors.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of revenue trends, variances, and key performance indicators to provide actionable insights for executive leadership.

Collaboration and Process Enhancement

• Partner with sales, operations, and billing teams to verify data integrity, troubleshoot discrepancies, and refine upstream processes for efficiency.
• Champion audit readiness by preparing detailed schedules and addressing auditor queries promptly and professionally.
• Proactively identify gaps in internal controls and spearhead initiatives to automate workflows and optimize revenue operations.
• Contribute to ERP system implementations, automation projects, and cross-functional efforts to modernize financial reporting.

Required Qualifications

To excel as our Senior Revenue Accountant, you should bring a strong foundation in revenue accounting coupled with hands-on experience in complex environments. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with at least 5 years of progressive experience focusing on revenue recognition and financial closes.
