Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage reliable and scalable systems across multi-cloud environments, including AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
• Develop and refine service level objectives (SLOs), service level indicators (SLIs), and error budgets to define and measure system reliability standards.
• Lead comprehensive root cause analyses for production incidents, authoring post-mortems and implementing proactive measures to prevent recurrence.
• Enhance platform observability by building and maintaining robust metrics, logs, traces, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
• Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives through advanced cost visibility dashboards, predictive forecasting models, and accountability frameworks to reduce waste without compromising performance.
• Collaborate closely with security teams to embed security practices into DevOps workflows, ensuring compliance with standards like SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
• Automate operational workflows using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible, alongside CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Leverage AI and machine learning tools for smarter incident analysis, anomaly detection, automated capacity planning, and predictive maintenance.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams on SRE best practices, reliability engineering principles, and cost-efficient cloud architectures.
• Partner with cross-functional teams—including product, engineering, and leadership—to influence technical roadmaps and elevate overall operational maturity.

Required Qualifications for SRE Position
