Key Responsibilities

In this hands-on leadership position, you'll architect solutions that scale seamlessly across cloud environments. Your responsibilities include:

  • Defining comprehensive architectures for enterprise applications, with a focus on APIs, microservices, and distributed systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Creating detailed high-level design documents, UML diagrams, technical blueprints, and architecture decision records (ADRs) that guide implementation.
  • Guiding development teams on industry-leading patterns like Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, and CQRS, while enforcing coding standards and best practices.
  • Evaluating and recommending modern tools, frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, .NET Core, Node.js), and platforms to align with the organization's technology strategy.
  • Collaborating closely with DevOps, SRE, and cloud engineering teams to design secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
  • Conducting rigorous architectural reviews, code assessments, security audits, and performance optimizations to maintain system integrity.
  • Leading modernization initiatives, including strategic refactoring of monolithic legacy systems into resilient microservices architectures.
  • Architecting sophisticated integration strategies using RESTful APIs, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), event-driven patterns, and serverless cloud services.
  • Mentoring junior and senior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high-quality software delivery through code reviews and pair programming.
  • Participating in product roadmap planning, effort estimation, risk analysis, and fostering cross-team collaboration for agile delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in designing and implementing scalable enterprise applications using microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong proficiency in integration technologies such as REST/GraphQL APIs, message brokers, and event streaming platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in system modernization projects, refactoring legacy codebases into modern, maintainable architectures.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience mentoring teams and conducting architectural reviews.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
