Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will oversee critical financial operations, including:

  • Managing the full cycle of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, delivering timely and precise reporting for stakeholders.

  • Upholding compliance with GAAP, relevant regulations, and internal accounting policies to mitigate risks.
  • Leading process improvements and automation initiatives using modern accounting tools to boost departmental efficiency.
  • Collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

Required Qualifications for Senior Accountant

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or advanced certification preferred.
  • At least 5 years of progressive senior accounting experience, ideally in a non-profit or similar environment.
