About the Role

As a Sr. Accountant, you will be the cornerstone of fund operations for registered and private funds spanning the United States, Canada, Ireland, and Luxembourg. This role demands expertise in diverse fund types, from hedge funds to UCITS, and involves close collaboration with senior team members, third-party administrators, vendors, board members, auditors, and internal stakeholders. You'll leverage tools like the Advent Geneva portfolio accounting system to drive accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and process efficiencies. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will include:

• Acting as the primary point of contact for multiple funds, owning relationships with third-party administrators and key vendors while preparing and reviewing critical reports like net asset value (NAV) calculations, security valuations, budgets, and expense analyses.
• Serving as a key liaison for fund board members, partnering with external auditors and administrators to produce financial statements, regulatory filings, and presentations for board approval.
• Collaborating across departments—including sales, client service, legal, operations, and corporate finance—on fund procedures, client inquiries, performance fee calculations, legal reviews, and revenue projections.
• Building detailed analyses for product development and new initiatives, demonstrating sound business judgment to inform senior management decisions.
• Supporting portfolio teams with ad hoc reporting and investor queries.
• Promoting consistency in reporting and processes across all fund products, assisting on projects for private hedge funds, US registered funds, Irish UCITS, Canadian, and Luxembourg funds.
• Managing the monthly performance reporting process using Advent Geneva.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements for operational efficiency.
• Working with tax preparers to deliver investor tax packages and resolve related questions.

Required Qualifications

To excel, you need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years in fund accounting/administration, ideally with exposure to multi-jurisdictional funds.
• Hands-on proficiency with Advent Geneva or similar systems.
• Deep understanding of fund reporting, NAV, valuations, and regulations in the US, Canada, Ireland, and Luxembourg.
