Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and record complex journal entries across revenue recognition, accounts receivable (AR), cash management, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts payable (AP), accruals, and payroll, ensuring full compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Perform in-depth account reconciliations and collaborate on monthly financial statement preparation, including comprehensive variance analysis to highlight performance trends.
• Oversee monthly bank reconciliations and daily cash balancing to maintain liquidity and operational efficiency.
• Handle customer inquiries efficiently and partner with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and support business needs.
• Prepare audit-ready documentation for internal and external audits, responding promptly to auditor requests.
• Research emerging technical accounting standards, implement policy updates, and ensure organizational compliance.
• Lead special projects such as ERP system upgrades, process automation, and M&A-related accounting integrations.
• Maintain transactional accuracy through rigorous monitoring and implement best practices for streamlined workflows.
• Identify and champion process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and scalability.
