  • Manage general accounting functions such as sales tracking, bookings, backlog reporting, fixed assets management, and reconciliation of various accounts.

  • Handle day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities, streamlining processes for efficiency.
  • Supervise inventory controls and COGS calculations, maintaining strict compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations to mitigate risks.
  • Support payroll processing and timekeeping systems, ensuring precise reporting and integration with financial statements.
  • Actively participate in month-end closing procedures, internal audits, and annual physical inventory counts to uphold financial integrity.

Required Qualifications for Sr. Accountant

To excel in this Sr. Accountant role, candidates should bring a proven track record in manufacturing cost accounting. Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years of progressive experience as a Cost Accountant or Sr. Accountant in a manufacturing setting.
