- Financial Statement Preparation: Develop budgets, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and regulatory reports, ensuring strict adherence to all financial regulations and standards.
- Audit and Compliance Support: Provide essential assistance during insurance audits, compliance reviews, and other processes, including handling state, federal tax, and specialized alcohol reporting requirements.
- General Ledger and Closing Processes: Oversee general ledger management, month-end, and year-end closings, with in-depth analysis of inventory reporting to drive accuracy and efficiency.
- Treasury and Executive Reporting: Partner closely with the Controller on high-level executive reporting and manage treasury operations, such as opening and closing bank accounts across the company's portfolio.
Additional financial duties will arise as needed, offering variety and exposure to strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
To excel in this Sr. Accountant role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of progressive senior accounting experience, preferably in a private company setting.
