About Role

This is a 9-month fractional engagement (20-25 hours/week) combining hybrid work in San Antonio, TX with eventual remote flexibility. You'll serve as the accounting data expert for a comprehensive Yardi Voyager implementation, ensuring seamless migration of critical real estate accounting data. Initial onsite work will familiarize you with client systems, transitioning to remote as the project progresses.

Ideal candidates have successfully supported multiple Yardi implementations in property management or real estate accounting environments. You'll operate independently, managing complex data preparation while the client handles Yardi configuration. This role demands precision, real estate accounting knowledge, and comfort with self-directed project work.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be data preparation, validation, and conversion for Yardi modules:

• Extract comprehensive accounting and operational data from legacy source systems
• Transform and format data using ETL methodologies to meet Yardi specifications
• Execute module-specific conversions including leases, tenant receivables, property, and unit-level accounting
• Follow Yardi-provided templates and mapping requirements meticulously
• Conduct rigorous self-validation and quality assurance on all converted datasets
• Map early-phase analysis of source systems to Yardi real estate modules
• Maintain project documentation and progress reporting

Client responsibilities include account setup, Yardi code configuration, and system setup - allowing you to focus purely on data excellence.

Required Qualifications

To succeed, you'll bring:

• 3+ years Yardi implementation experience in real estate/property management
• Deep knowledge of Yardi modules (Leasing, A/R, GL, Property Management)
• Proven ETL skills for accounting data migration projects
• Expertise in real estate accounting principles and data structures
• Ability to work 20-25 hours weekly with high independence
• Hybrid availability in San Antonio, TX (initial onsite required)
• Strong Excel/advanced data manipulation skills
• Impeccable attention to detail and validation mindset
