Join Robert Half's prestigious client in Quincy, Massachusetts, as a Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner on an exciting long-term contract basis. This pivotal role sits at the intersection of business strategy and technology implementation within the complex world of collateral management. You'll be instrumental in driving strategic directives, meeting regulatory mandates, and delivering innovative solutions that simplify operations and enhance capabilities across a global financial institution.

As a key player in transforming collateral management systems, you'll leverage your deep expertise in financial services technology to bridge business needs with technical execution. This position offers the perfect blend of strategic leadership, hands-on analysis, and project oversight, making it ideal for seasoned professionals who thrive on complex challenges and delivering measurable business value.

Strategic Impact and Objectives

Your primary mission will be to implement a comprehensive collateral management platform that not only services client needs but drives bank-wide simplification by eliminating redundant capabilities. You'll optimize existing rules engines, design end-to-end process flows, and ensure standard data management with robust systems integration. Working closely with both business stakeholders and development teams, you'll champion flexible, scalable solutions that position the organization for future growth and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

The Sr. Business Analyst will lead through every phase of the system development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements definition to implementation. Core responsibilities include:

  • Leading highly complex business/system requirements workshops and facilitating strategic meetings with global stakeholders
  • Partnering with business teams to capture requirements, create detailed wireframes, and clearly articulate the product vision to development teams
  • Designing and executing comprehensive end-to-end data and process flows, including critical ecosystem connectivity like SWIFT integration
  • Masterfully decomposing abstract, intricate business concepts into actionable business and functional requirements understandable by end-users, developers, and testers
  • Maintaining rigorous documentation standards consistent with enterprise methodology frameworks

Additional leadership duties encompass project planning, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and developing essential deliverables like user training plans, business-level UAT scripts, and implementation roadmaps. You'll provide strategic guidance to cross-functional teams, ensure governance compliance, and expertly manage dependencies across business units and IT domains.

Required Qualifications

We're seeking a proven leader with:

  • 8+ years of Business Analyst/Product Owner experience in financial services, preferably collateral management or risk systems
  • Demonstrated success implementing enterprise platforms with rules engines and complex integrations
  • Expertise in SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall), requirements elicitation, and process modeling
  • Strong technical aptitude for wireframing tools, data flow design, and financial messaging protocols (SWIFT)
  • Exceptional facilitation skills for leading senior stakeholder workshops
  • Project management proficiency including risk/issue tracking and dependency management
  • Excellent communication abilities for global, cross-functional collaboration
  • Financial industry knowledge including regulatory mandates and collateral operations
