This forward-thinking organization is composed of top-tier apparel experts passionate about reinvention and evolution. Their mission? To build brands that surpass expectations in performance, execution, and results. By deeply understanding customer needs, they deliver unmatched value, efficiency, and reliability at every touchpoint.
Join as a Senior Financial Analyst on the finance team, reporting directly to the CFO and collaborating closely with the VP of Accounting. Take ownership of developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models that underpin budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections. Your models will provide the backbone for informed strategic decisions in a fast-evolving apparel market.
Prepare insightful monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Dive deep into variances, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver actionable insights that guide business performance.
Collaborate with departments like operations, sales, and merchandising to align budgets and forecasts with overarching strategic goals. Your input will shape the company's trajectory in the competitive New York apparel sector.
Monitor inventory levels meticulously, assessing their impact on working capital. Provide recommendations to enhance inventory turnover and efficiency. Manage factoring processes with finance and operations teams to ensure optimal cash flow.
Support mergers and acquisitions through financial due diligence and integration planning. Handle ad-hoc analyses, crafting compelling presentations for senior executives, board members, and external partners.
Continuously evaluate and refine financial processes, pinpointing opportunities for greater efficiency, scalability, and automation in a high-growth environment.
To excel in this Sr. Financial Analyst role, you need a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, plus 5-7 years of progressive FP&A experience—ideally in apparel, retail, or consumer goods. Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, scenario modeling) is essential, alongside familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle. Experience in inventory management, factoring, and M&A due diligence is highly valued.
Key skills include exceptional analytical abilities, the capacity to translate data into business stories, and strong communication for stakeholder presentations. You're a proactive problem-solver who thrives in dynamic settings, with a track record of process optimization. CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
