Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Budgeting

Act as a strategic leader by developing the BU's comprehensive five-year strategic plan, annual budget, financial forecasts, and sophisticated modeling tools. You will monitor critical KPIs related to revenue, cost of goods sold (including FOB costs, freight, and duties), expenses, inventory levels, and capital expenditures for North American legal entities and sales markets.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare detailed monthly financial management reports featuring actuals vs. budget variance analyses, profit walks, price-volume studies, and insightful recommendations. Present these findings during monthly leadership reviews, offering actionable strategies that align with organizational goals.

Process Improvement and Collaboration

Initiate enhancements to streamline, standardize, and integrate current processes and data systems. Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to build automated reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Pyramid, advanced Excel (xLookup, Power Query, VBA), and support Jedox implementations for group-wide connectivity.

Project Support and Team Contributions

Support ad hoc strategic and operational projects across corporate and BU cost centers. Assist with North America's integrated five-year plans, budgets, performance evaluations, and monthly group reviews. Partner with the Director and rotate roles within the FP&A team as needed.

Required Qualifications

To excel as our Sr. FP&A Analyst, you need a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience. A CPA designation is preferred, along with proficiency in BI tools (Power BI essential) and ERP systems like Microsoft Navision, SAP, Jedox, HFM, or IBM TM1. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are mandatory, complemented by strong verbal/written communication, presentation experience to senior management, meticulous attention to detail, exceptional time management, proactive ownership, logical problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. Familiarity with sensitive data handling and fluency in Mandarin are advantageous pluses.
