Evaluate accounting treatments for strategic initiatives like mergers, acquisitions, and major capital projects, always prioritizing compliance and risk mitigation.

Take ownership of consolidated U.S. audit activities, serving as the primary point of contact with external auditors, while supporting international statutory reporting and audits through close collaboration with regional finance leaders. Oversee core enterprise programs such as financial consolidation, intercompany eliminations, fixed assets, and general ledger governance. Drive continuous improvement by identifying workflow bottlenecks, implementing automation, and strengthening internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.

Excel in cross-functional partnerships with FP&A, tax, legal, and operations teams to align accounting practices with broader organizational objectives. Maintain proactive communications with C-suite executives, escalating high-risk matters with clear recommendations. Finally, build and mentor a high-performing global team, investing in their development to ensure long-term leadership pipeline and talent retention.

Required Qualifications

Success in this role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent certification highly preferred. You bring 10+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting and financial reporting, ideally within multinational manufacturing or industrial sectors. Deep technical proficiency in US GAAP, IFRS, ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 leases, and complex consolidation standards is essential.

Demonstrated leadership in managing global audits, statutory filings, and cross-border teams is non-negotiable. Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel modeling is required, along with strong project management skills for process optimization initiatives.
