Draft, revise, and perfect essential legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, oppositions, replies, and subpoenas. Master electronic filing systems for both Texas state courts and federal districts, guaranteeing compliance with local rules, deadlines, and formatting requirements. Your attention to detail will prevent costly errors and keep cases on track.
Lead e-discovery efforts using tools like Relativity, Concordance, or Everlaw. Review, code, and produce documents efficiently while maintaining privilege logs and redaction protocols. Coordinate seamlessly with experts, witnesses, vendors, and court reporters to schedule depositions, hearings, and trials. Maintain comprehensive case files, docket calendars, and timelines using Clio, PracticePanther, or similar case management software.
Prepare trial-ready materials including exhibit lists, trial notebooks, demonstrative aids, and witness outlines. Provide on-site logistical support during hearings and trials, and be prepared to travel to regional venues as required. Your ability to anticipate needs and execute under pressure will be invaluable during high-intensity proceedings.
To excel in this Sr. Paralegal role, candidates must bring proven experience in complex litigation support. A bachelor's degree or ABA-approved Paralegal certificate is required, paired with at least 5-7 years in a senior paralegal capacity within a law firm or corporate legal department. Deep knowledge of Texas and federal court procedures, e-discovery best practices, and litigation software is essential. Strong analytical skills, impeccable writing abilities, and the capacity to handle confidential information with utmost discretion are non-negotiable.
