  • Overseeing comprehensive general accounting functions such as accounts payable/receivable, credit card and bank reconciliations, payroll processing, accruals, expense reports, journal entries, commission and loan schedules, and complex intercompany transactions.
  • Managing the fixed asset lifecycle, including monthly depreciation and amortization calculations, asset capitalization versus expensing decisions, and maintaining meticulous documentation for business loans, refinances, and compliance requirements.
  • Executing monthly property accounting tasks, meticulously reviewing financial reports for accuracy, ensuring proper allocations, and reconciling activities from third-party property management firms.
  • Leading the monthly close process for financial statements, delivering in-depth management reporting and analysis, conducting budget reviews, and investigating variances to provide actionable insights.
  • Preparing detailed monthly cash flow statements that account for capital improvements, significant expenses, and liquidity forecasting.
  • Ensuring debt compliance through proactive oversight and preparing comprehensive annual financial reporting for lenders.
  • Collaborating with property managers and owners to develop annual budgets, continuously monitoring budget-to-actual performance, and reporting on variances to optimize operations.
  • Handling critical annual reconciliations for Common Area Maintenance (CAM), taxes, and insurance; managing tenant billings and collections, property tax payments, insurance renewals, and administrative cost allocations across entities.
  • Managing payroll operations and all related tax reporting, including quarterly filings and annual submissions such as W-2s, 1099s, and Franchise Tax returns.

Required Qualifications
