Key Responsibilities

Automation Framework Development

• Own and evolve automation capabilities for business-critical testing processes including UI, API, integration, back-end, and performance testing.
• Design, develop, and execute automated tests across all layers using Selenium for UI, Rest Assured for APIs, and SQL for data validation.

Technical Implementation

• Serve as a full-stack Senior Automation Engineer in agile teams, leveraging Selenium + Maven in IntelliJ with robust Java/OOP design patterns.
• Build and maintain comprehensive automation suites covering functional, integration, API, back-end tests (file upload/download, email parsing, multi-browser, security).
• Craft advanced SQL queries to ensure data integrity and automate test data generation.
• Implement containerized test execution using Docker, partnering with DevOps for scalable CI/CD environments.

Performance and Collaboration

• Develop and run performance/load testing frameworks, analyze results, and deliver actionable quality insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate on unit test strategies to increase application coverage and conduct code reviews for QA initiatives.
• Mentor junior automation engineers, enforce coding standards, and troubleshoot regression suite issues for improved stability.
• Participate in defect triage, sprint ceremonies, backlog grooming, and provide early QA feedback during design and build phases.
• Generate metrics, reports, and trend analysis to measure automation ROI and product quality for QA leadership.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this Sr. QA Automation Engineer role, candidates must demonstrate:

• 5+ years of hands-on QA automation experience in enterprise environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java/OOP, Selenium, Maven, IntelliJ, Rest Assured, and SQL.
• Proven track record building scalable automation frameworks in agile/SDLC settings.
• Experience with Docker, performance testing, and multi-layered test automation (UI/API/back-end).
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Product, Engineering).
• Mentoring experience and ability to lead code reviews and best practices adoption.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; advanced certifications a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
