This is a critical 3-month contract position (40 hours per week) focused on tackling an existing backlog of Shopify issues while delivering top-tier front-end development and backend integration maintenance. Key Responsibilities

Front-End Development (80% Focus)

• Address and resolve a backlog of issues within the Shopify platform, prioritizing user-impacting bugs and enhancements.
• Modify and enhance Shopify themes, including comprehensive layout adjustments, UI improvements, and custom design implementations.
• Work extensively with the Liquid templating language to customize storefront functionality, sections, and dynamic content rendering.
• Ensure front-end performance, usability, and responsiveness align with business needs across devices and browsers.
• Implement updates and fixes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript within the Shopify ecosystem, leveraging Shopify's native tools.
• Troubleshoot front-end issues related to themes, layouts, and overall user experience, delivering pixel-perfect results.

Backend & Integrations (20% Focus)

• Maintain and optimize 5–10 existing Shopify API integrations with internal systems, ensuring robust data synchronization.
• Support both API-based integrations and webhooks for real-time data exchange between Shopify and connected platforms.
• Monitor and ensure accurate, reliable data flow, identifying bottlenecks or failures proactively.
• Troubleshoot integration issues swiftly, implementing fixes and performance improvements to minimize downtime.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this Sr. Shopify Developer role with Robert Half, candidates must bring senior-level expertise in Shopify development. Key qualifications include:
