Key Responsibilities

• Manage backup strategies using native SQL tools or third-party solutions, ensuring compliance with RPO/RTO requirements and executing flawless recovery drills.
• Partner with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to resolve database-related issues, providing expert guidance on best practices for data modeling and schema design.
• Enforce database security through role-based access control, encryption, auditing, and adherence to licensing standards like SQL Server CALs and core-based licensing.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all processes, configurations, and maintenance schedules to facilitate knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
• Deliver on-call support for critical incidents, minimizing downtime and restoring services swiftly during after-hours emergencies.

Required Qualifications
