Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will focus on core accounting functions tailored to the firm's property investments:

  • Conduct thorough reconciliations of bank statements, credit cards, and other accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Process Accounts Payable (AP), including vendor invoice reviews, approvals, and timely payments using QuickBooks.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), handling customer invoicing, payments, and collections for property-related revenues.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports for individual properties and the overall portfolio.
  • Assist in month-end close processes, variance analysis, and ad-hoc reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain meticulous financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with the Controller on budgeting, forecasting, and special projects as the portfolio expands.
