  • Manage lease portfolios using LeaseQuery software, ensuring full ASC 842 compliance through journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Distribute preliminary monthly P&L statements to property and business unit managers.
  • Calculate and process monthly Teamsters Pension contributions and Union Dues.
  • Administer weekly settlements and payments for independent contractors.
  • Prepare and file annual business property tax statements.
  • Provide backup support for accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Assist with external audit documentation, process walkthroughs, and compliance requests.
  • Develop and document accounting processes and internal controls for efficiency and audit-readiness.

Additional ad-hoc finance duties will leverage your expertise to support the team's evolving needs.

Required Qualifications

To excel as a Staff Accountant with our client, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in staff or senior accounting roles.
