Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Infrastructure Management

Take ownership of Windows Server environments (2016-2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune for seamless endpoint management. Maintain Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Entra Connect to ensure robust hybrid identity solutions.

Cloud and Automation Expertise

Provision and optimize AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, and VPCs, adhering to best practices for cost-efficiency, security, and resilience. Automate deployments with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and PowerShell scripting. Support hybrid workloads and DevOps principles to streamline operations.

Virtualization, Monitoring, and Backup

Administer VMware or Hyper-V with focus on capacity planning and resource optimization. Use Datadog for real-time monitoring, dashboards, alerts, and performance tuning. Implement backup and recovery using Rubrik and AWS native tools, while testing business continuity plans.

Compliance, Support, and Collaboration

Ensure infrastructure meets FFIEC, NCUA, and GLBA standards. Provide Tier-3 support, coordinate patching and migrations, and collaborate with engineers, vendors, and stakeholders. Document processes and proactively mitigate risks to enhance IT service delivery.

Required Qualifications

To succeed as our Systems Engineer, you need 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments. Key qualifications include deep knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365; proven AWS management skills; automation proficiency with Terraform and PowerShell; and virtualization expertise. Familiarity with Datadog, Rubrik, and compliance frameworks is essential. Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are required, along with a bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred. Certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or equivalent are highly valued.
