Key Responsibilities

System Design & Implementation

Architect and deploy scalable, secure systems tailored to business needs. This includes evaluating hardware and software requirements, configuring high-availability clusters, and integrating hybrid environments to support seamless operations.

Infrastructure Maintenance

Manage Windows and Linux servers, virtualization solutions like VMware and Hyper-V, and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS. Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and capacity planning to minimize downtime.

Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Utilize advanced monitoring tools to track system health, identify bottlenecks, and resolve issues proactively. Ensure 99.9% uptime through predictive analytics and rapid incident response.

Security & Compliance

Enforce robust security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls. Oversee patching cycles, vulnerability assessments, and adherence to regulations like HIPAA, GDPR, or SOC 2.

Backup & Recovery

Design and maintain comprehensive backup strategies and disaster recovery frameworks. Conduct regular testing to guarantee data integrity and swift recovery during outages.

Automation & Scripting

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this Systems Engineer role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of hands-on systems engineering experience in enterprise environments.
