Key Responsibilities

As the go-to Systems Engineer/Administrator, you'll own the end-to-end lifecycle of Internal Audit and GRC platforms. This includes:

• Primary ownership of configuration, administration, governance, and long-term optimization of audit technologies.
• Leading platform upgrades, feature rollouts, and continuous improvement projects, including evaluation of new releases.
• Managing user access, roles, permissions, and controls to maintain data integrity and enforce segregation of duties (SoD).
• Designing and refining workflows, templates, dashboards, integrations, and reports that support audit planning, fieldwork, issue tracking, remediation, and executive reporting.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Internal Audit, IT, Compliance, Risk, and InfoSec teams to integrate systems with enterprise infrastructure and data sources.
• Developing data flows and automations to boost reporting visibility, accuracy, and internal control strength.
• Proactively monitoring system performance, user adoption, and usage analytics to drive scalability, reliability, and enhanced user experiences.
• Aligning all configurations with established GRC frameworks, audit methodologies, and internal control standards while staying ahead of industry trends.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate:

• Proven hands-on experience administering GRC and audit platforms such as AuditBoard, Archer, RSA Archer, or comparable tools.
• Strong technical aptitude in systems engineering, with a focus on secure, high-availability configurations.
• Expertise in user access management, workflow automation, dashboard creation, and API integrations.
• Deep knowledge of audit processes, regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, COSO), and internal control environments.
• 3-5+ years in a similar systems administration or engineering role, ideally within audit/compliance functions.
• Exceptional collaboration skills to partner with diverse stakeholders including auditors, IT engineers, and risk professionals.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline; relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, platform-specific) highly preferred.
