About the Role

As Systems Security Administrator, you will serve as the guardian of our Microsoft 365 ecosystem, ensuring seamless operation, ironclad security, and optimal performance. This position demands deep technical expertise in M365 services combined with strong problem-solving skills for Tier 2/3 support. Operating with autonomy, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, drive adoption, and support business continuity across manufacturing sites. Occasional travel to North American locations provides exposure to diverse operational environments while contributing to Kaizen continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 suite including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform
  • Manage Azure Active Directory user lifecycle, security groups, roles, and licensing through Microsoft 365 Admin Center
  • Configure advanced security features: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access policies, and comprehensive security frameworks
  • Monitor tenant health, service availability, capacity planning, and performance metrics using native M365 tools
  • Implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies, retention policies, compliance rules, and governance controls
  • Provide expert Tier 2/3 support with root cause analysis, troubleshooting complex issues, and Microsoft escalation management
  • Govern Microsoft Teams environments including policies, integrations, and usage optimization
  • Conduct regular audits of permissions, sharing activities, and access controls to maintain data governance standards
  • Develop technical documentation, usage reports, and adoption analytics to support strategic decision-making
  • Participate in Kaizen events and drive continuous improvement in cloud operations

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate brings 3-5+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 administration experience in enterprise environments. Key requirements include:

  • Microsoft 365 certifications (MS-102, MS-500 preferred) or equivalent expertise
  • Deep knowledge of Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access, and security best practices
  • Proven DLP, compliance, and governance implementation experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Experience with Power Platform administration and Teams governance
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and end-user support
  • Willingness to travel domestically (valid driver's license required)
