Ensure every return meets federal, state, and local standards, resolving complex issues pre-submission. Manage extensions, estimated payments, and calendars proactively, while staying ahead of tax law changes to advise the firm and clients effectively.
Act as the go-to expert for clients, delivering clear tax planning strategies and savings opportunities. Handle IRS notices, audits, and correspondence with precision, gathering timely data from clients to maintain strong relationships and compliance.
Review audit workpapers and financial statements for accuracy, assist in planning and supervision, and prepare reports under firm standards—ready for owner approval. Uphold GAAP and professional auditing protocols to deliver high-quality assurance services.
Mentor staff accountants and seasonal preparers, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and providing feedback. Drive efficiency by identifying bottlenecks and training new hires, ensuring peak performance year-round.
Partner with the Office Manager on scheduling, staffing, and process documentation. Contribute to checklists, templates, and continuous improvements, fostering a compliant, efficient operation.
