Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership and Planning

  • Lead end-to-end technical projects focused on AWS cloud migrations, data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, analytics solutions, and reporting systems.
  • Define comprehensive project scopes, objectives, success metrics, deliverables, and realistic timelines in partnership with diverse stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project artifacts including roadmaps, dependency matrices, risk registers with mitigation strategies, status dashboards, and tailored communication plans.

Execution and Team Facilitation

  • Monitor project progress meticulously, adeptly managing scope changes, schedule adjustments, and resource allocations.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and adapt hybrid methodologies to fit project needs.
  • Serve as the essential liaison bridging technical experts in data engineering, DevOps, platforms, and security with business units like product, analytics, and operations.

Risk Management and Technical Oversight

  • Proactively identify technical risks and organizational challenges, escalating appropriately and proposing robust contingency plans.
  • Lead architectural and design discussions, evaluating feasibility, tradeoffs, and adherence to AWS cloud best practices.
  • Manage vendor integrations, third-party collaborations, and external workstreams to ensure smooth execution.

Compliance and Continuous Improvement

  • Embed compliance, security protocols, governance frameworks, data privacy measures, logging, monitoring, and SLA requirements into all project deliverables.
  • Conduct thorough post-implementation reviews, document lessons learned, and champion process optimizations for future success.
  • Deliver executive-level presentations on project status, hurdles, KPIs, and measurable outcomes to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

To excel as our Technical Project Manager, you bring 7+ years of hands-on experience in technical project management within data engineering, AWS cloud, or related domains.
