Key Responsibilities

TMS Implementation & Configuration

  • Lead comprehensive end-to-end consulting efforts to deploy TMS solutions tailored to client transportation and logistics objectives.
  • Configure core system functionality, seamless integrations, and bespoke custom features within the TMS platform.
  • Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and system piloting to ensure timely and successful rollouts.

Business Analysis & Process Mapping

  • Partner with business units and IT teams to evaluate transportation workflows and pinpoint critical system and integration requirements.
  • Create detailed business process flows for transportation execution, rating, tendering, and settlement processes.
  • Facilitate user training programs, system testing phases, and user acceptance testing (UAT), developing comprehensive test plans, scripts, and training materials.

Integration & Technical Coordination

  • Serve as the key liaison between business users and development teams, translating high-level requirements into actionable technical specifications.
  • Design, implement, and test integrations for web-based TMS solutions, leveraging EDI, XML, APIs, and other protocols.
  • Coordinate the delivery and optimal utilization of IT services that underpin transportation systems.

Data Analysis & Contract Support

  • Perform in-depth analysis of transportation data, including shipping costs, volumes, and performance metrics segmented by facility, lane, region, and mode of transport.
  • Provide expertise in contract interpretation and establish robust data controls for LTL, Truckload, Ocean, and Air carrier contracts and tariffs.

Required Qualifications

To excel as a Transportation Systems Integration Analyst at Robert Half, candidates should possess:
