Key Responsibilities

Core Litigation Duties

• Lead A-Z case management for legal malpractice, professional liability, and business litigation matters, often partnering with a senior partner and 1-3 associates.
• Handle all phases of discovery, including expertly conducting and defending depositions.
• Draft compelling pleadings and excel in law and motion practice to secure favorable rulings.
• Represent the firm in court appearances, trials, and hearings with poise and precision.

Client and Business Development

• Foster strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel to drive resolutions and repeat business.
• Build and own client portfolios, with the unique ability to convert assigned matters into your personal book of business.
• Meet a reasonable 1850 billable hour target, which encompasses valuable time on mentoring juniors, client development, business origination, and CLE credits.

Required Qualifications
