About the Role

As a Trial Paralegal in the Labor & Employment Group, you'll play a pivotal role in defending employers against complex employment disputes. Our attorneys provide expert counsel on intricate issues like wage and hour class actions, representative actions under PAGA, misclassification lawsuits, disciplinary matters, FMLA/CFRA leaves, and collective bargaining for unionized workplaces. You'll work on-site regularly in our San Diego office, preparing for trials, managing voluminous eDiscovery, and supporting depositions and hearings. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with deposition and hearing preparation: Create detailed exhibit lists, witness outlines, and digests; prepare attorneys for key testimonies.
• Support full litigation lifecycle: Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and appellate briefs under attorney supervision.
• Collaborate on labor & employment matters: Research case law, summarize depositions, and track deadlines in high-volume caseloads.
• Work on-site regularly: Be present in the San Diego office for team meetings, client interactions, and urgent trial prep.

Required Qualifications
