Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day impact will include:

  • Designing seamless user experiences across diverse platforms including web applications, iOS/Android mobile apps, and embedded UI for wearable and physical medical devices
  • Developing multimodal interaction patterns incorporating visual design, voice user interfaces, gesture controls, and natural language experiences
  • Leveraging proven UX/UI design principles, human-centered design methodologies, and design thinking frameworks to solve complex healthcare challenges
  • Creating comprehensive wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and polished design systems using Figma and modern design tools
  • Leading and supporting user research initiatives, conducting usability testing sessions, and synthesizing actionable insights to inform design decisions
  • Collaborating within agile cross-functional teams including product managers, frontend/backend engineers, and fellow designers
  • Planning and facilitating collaborative design workshops to help teams reframe problems, ideate solutions, and align on design direction
  • Articulating design rationale through compelling visual presentations, detailed written documentation, and clear verbal communication to diverse stakeholders
  • Advocating passionately for user needs, accessibility standards (WCAG), and inclusive design practices while navigating technical feasibility and business priorities

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate brings:

  • 4+ years of professional UX/UI design experience, preferably in healthcare, medtech, or consumer-facing digital products
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including advanced prototyping, design systems, and component libraries
  • Demonstrated portfolio showcasing web, mobile, and device UI design projects with measurable user impact
  • Strong foundation in human-centered design, design thinking, and usability research methodologies
  • Experience with multimodal interfaces including voice UI, conversational design, and gesture-based interactions
  • Proven ability to collaborate in fast-paced, cross-functional teams using agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders
