Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal leadership role, you will:

• Oversee all fund and management company financial operations, driving accuracy, efficiency, and cost optimization through advanced processes.
• Collaborate closely with investor relations and capital formation teams to deliver exceptional reporting, transparency, and engagement that strengthens LP relationships.
• Partner with the investment team to streamline deal execution, from due diligence to closing, while coordinating seamlessly with legal counterparts.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive frameworks for operations, compliance, and reporting to mitigate risks and support audit readiness.
• Champion technology and data enablement initiatives, integrating tools like CRM systems, analytics platforms, and automation to supercharge decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing finance and operations team, cultivating talent and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Design and deploy scalable systems and processes that accommodate the firm's explosive growth in AUM and deal flow.
• Uphold rigorous regulatory compliance across SEC, GAAP, and industry standards while nurturing enduring ties with institutional investors.
• Instill a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and operational rigor within all finance and ops functions.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and operations, ideally within venture capital, private equity, or high-growth investment firms.
• Demonstrated success scaling financial operations in dynamic, multi-billion AUM environments.
• Expertise in fund accounting, investor reporting, compliance (e.g., SEC, ILPA standards), and deal structuring.
• Proven track record partnering with investment teams on deal execution and portfolio management.
• Strong technical skills in financial systems (e.g., Investran, Allvue, or similar) and data analytics tools.
• Leadership experience building and mentoring teams in fast-paced settings.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; CPA, MBA, or CFA designation highly preferred.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills for engaging sophisticated institutional stakeholders.
