Working closely with marketing, content, and development teams, you'll track, analyze, and interpret key data points on user behavior, traffic patterns, and conversion metrics. Your insights will directly influence digital strategies, driving business growth and improving ROI on marketing campaigns. As a Web Analytics Specialist at Robert Half, you'll leverage cutting-edge tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to deliver actionable recommendations that elevate our clients' online presence. This full-time position offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment where your expertise in web analytics, SEO, and digital marketing can make a tangible impact.

Charlotte, NC, known as the Queen City, is a thriving hub for finance, tech, and marketing professionals. Joining Robert Half here means being part of a vibrant career ecosystem with endless opportunities for growth. If you're passionate about turning data into decisions and have a knack for uncovering hidden trends in user data, this role is your gateway to professional excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics Implementation and Management

Take ownership of implementing and managing web analytics tracking across multiple platforms. Configure tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and others to ensure accurate data capture. You'll set up event tracking, e-commerce monitoring, and custom dimensions to provide comprehensive visibility into user journeys.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Dive deep into datasets to analyze website traffic, user engagement, bounce rates, conversion funnels, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop sophisticated reports and interactive dashboards using tools like Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI. Regularly deliver performance summaries to stakeholders, highlighting trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

Insights and Optimization

Transform raw data into strategic insights. Make data-backed recommendations to refine website structure, content placement, and user interface elements. Support SEO initiatives by analyzing organic search performance, keyword effectiveness, and backlink quality to boost visibility and rankings.

Collaboration and Testing

Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, IT, and content creators. Lead A/B testing and multivariate experiments using platforms like Optimizely or Google Optimize. Implement attribution models to accurately credit marketing channels and refine customer acquisition strategies.

Continuous Improvement

Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring industry trends in web analytics, privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA, and emerging technologies such as AI-driven analytics. Proactively suggest tool upgrades and process enhancements to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Qualifications

To excel as our Web Analytics Specialist, you need a blend of technical prowess and business acumen. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required, along with at least 2-5 years of hands-on experience in web analytics or digital analytics roles. Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4 certified preferred), Adobe Analytics, and tag management systems is essential. You should possess strong SQL skills for querying large datasets and experience with data visualization tools.

Additional must-haves include familiarity with JavaScript and HTML for custom tracking implementations, expertise in A/B testing methodologies, and a solid understanding of SEO principles, attribution modeling, and user experience (UX) optimization. Excellent communication skills are critical— you'll need to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders clearly and persuasively.
