Conduct thorough investigations, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure strict compliance with state and federal regulations. Expertly manage Family and Medical Leave Act processes, including eligibility assessments, documentation, and communication. Stay ahead of regulatory changes to maintain seamless operations for a workforce of 900+.
Oversee employee eligibility verifications, ensuring accurate I-9 forms and E-Verify submissions. Your attention to detail will uphold legal compliance and prevent audit issues.
Design and facilitate engaging onboarding sessions to integrate new hires quickly and effectively, fostering a positive first impression and retention.
As the role grows, administer employee benefits programs. Utilize HRIS systems to scale processes for expanding teams, enhancing efficiency across the organization.
To succeed, you need proven hands-on experience in workers’ comp, FMLA, I-9/E-Verify, and new hire orientation. Prior work managing HR for at least 500 full-time equivalents is essential, with preference for 900+ employee scales. Be tech-savvy, proficient in HR software like ADP, Workday, or UKG, to automate and optimize tasks. Comfort with purely administrative HR (no relations) is key. A relevant degree or certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus, alongside strong organizational skills for a fast-paced setting.
