As a State and Local Tax (SALT) Intern at RSM, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of companies, both large and small, across various industries. Your responsibilities as a SALT Intern may include:

The basic qualifications include completion of 90 credit hours, working towards a B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting (or related field) from an accredited university, excellent communication skills, and access to reliable transportation for client visits. A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
Preferred qualifications include excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills, especially proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
You will be involved in various tasks, including integrating state and local tax services, completing tax planning and research, reviewing client tax processes, analyzing data, and assisting with sales/use tax software implementation.
You will be working as part of a team, collaborating with experienced professionals to deliver high-quality services to our clients.
